Spark retaining logon details

Hello,

I have had a search around older posts and documentation but unfortunately couldn’t find anything so hopefully this hasn’t been answered before.

Is there a location (registry/user profile) that is used to retain logon details? We use spark in a managed terminal server environment that removes the majority of rubbish from profiles at logoff and is obviously removing whatever key/setting it is that can retain settings.

Has anyone come across or fixed this before?

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

“spark.properties” file in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark (in Windows 7) stores login info, and it is detailed in other posts.

Some examples of settings it can store:

username=Greg

server=myservername

passwordSaved=true

The password appears to be stored in a hashed form in the file, which gets created when you select “Save password” in Spark 2.6.3 (Spark menu / Settings / Login).

If you exempt that folder (which has some other saved settings) from your cleaning process, you should be able to retain your settings for Spark.
