Still some problems with LDAP and groups

Hi,

I’m still fighting with a few problems configuring Openfire groups thru LDAP. I’ve a set of groups with the memberUid attributes (I’ve checked the content of the ldap and it is correct). However some groups have no members, while others have the right number of members. Watching the ldap schema, the group seems equal. Any idea on such problem or a suggestion on how to investigate the problem?

I found the problem: in the case there is a user with the same username as a group (in my case it was the user ‘ammin’ of the group ‘ammin’), then the OpenFire server sees two groups (you can check it with the search box of the group summary page), both empty. It does suffice to remove the user and leave only the group to make OpenFire seeing the right group with the users.
