after nearly throwing the PC out of my window because EJabberd didn’’ work, I decided to give Wildfire a chance. Installation was super easy, it was all well documented and I thought : Hey, this thing could work. Anyway:
My wildfire security settings require TLS. Using GAIM I can perfectly register users (and I registered lots of them), but when I try to log in I get “Authentication Failure”. So i tried everything, I also created a new RSA 1024 key (no i didnt change the keystore password, i just created the new key and and deleted the other two standard keys. I did also not change any settings in the web console, cause the first time I did, I couldn’‘t load the security page anymore. Still not working. I tried every possible setting in GAIM, but it’'s just not working.
Funny thing at registration is, that when I click on register in Gaim for the first time it says authentication error as well - the second time it works. I could also give people the URL so they could check it out themselves.
