Trouble with users missing from User Summary and Contact Lists in SBS 2003

I was setting up Openfire, and the install went well, until I looked at the users available. This Openfire 3.30 and SBS 2003 using AD

In my search filter I used:

(&(objectClass=organizationalPerson)(memberOf=CN=Openfire,OU=Security Groups,OU=MyBusiness,DC=domain,DC=local))

It only shows me 4 of the 20 users available in that container. I’‘m not seeing a commonality in them at first glance. I’'m missing something.

Below is my Wildfire.xml

Thanks in advance for any help.

true

Another piece to the puzzle. The users that do show up are Power Users or better. Is there a permission level to use Openfire? Any idea where the fix may lay?

Another clue…

I noticed on the Group Summary page, the users that show up in the users Summery Page and Client contact list are shortened and linked to a userpage in Wildfire. The ones that show the whole address with the * don’'t show up at all, sort of like this:

user1@jabbber.domain.net *

user2@jabber.domain.net *

user3@jabber.domain.net *

user4

user5

user6@jabber.domain.net *

  • Note: Remote users or entities should accept presence subscriptions automatically.

Not sure what the * notation means “Remote users or entities should accept presence subscriptions automatically”.
