Unable to change Subscription type in Roster item

Hi All,

I have a simple openfire installation working with mysql db on 2 different servers. This has been up and running for past 7 - 8 months. Recently on one of the servers, when I tried to change the subscription type, I get an exception.

Exception:

This was working couple of months back when I tried to change the subscription of a user. I have not changed any settings related to open fire or mysql on the server. I did search this forum and google to get help. There are couple of threads, which has discussion about this issue, but there is no solution listed.

I have already tried the method mentioned in http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/message/188384#188384 but that didn’t fix the issue. Any guidance in this regard will be really helpful.

Are any other users facing this issue or is it an isolated issue ? Is it related to an update or is it related to server settings ?

This has been an issue for past couple of weeks, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
