Unable to find folder; embedded-db, to progress updating Openfire

Hi, im currently having problems updating openfire.

Im running Ubuntu server 8 and Openfire is located in the /opt/openfire folder

Ive backed up Openfire and can only find the following directories:

.install4j

bin

conf

documentation

enterprise

fastpath

index

lib

logs

monitoring

plugines

resources

I seem to be missing the embedded-db folder, and also where is the database located?

Maybe you are using an external database? (e.g. MySQL, …)

Ooops, How stupid of me. lol

Yes cheers, i thought when i setup Openfire i thought i was using a flat database. It seems i did use MySQL.

One last question.

To upgrade Openfire do i have to run the install or do i copy everything from the .tar.gz over the existing installation?
