Unable to get logged in to Admin Console after restarting the system

I setup the openfire on the red hat linux 4 under the vm. First time when i finish the setting,i can get logged in to admin console.But when i

restart the system,i can’t get the admin console page, i always get the setting page.Somebody says when restarting the system, must stop

the openfire service first, but i dosn’t work.Although, the im client can log in.But i want get the admin console page. what’s wrong? Tks.

sounds like a permissions issue with the openfire directory and its files, specifically the openfire.xml file, and if you use the embedded db the database folder. make sure the account used to run openfire has full control of the folders and files.
