Unable to get logged in to Admin Console

First time using OpenFire and I setup the software on a Win2003 server. Trying to get logged in to the Admin Console for the first time but cannot find any documentation on what username and password to use. Please help. Thanks Ben

If you are not using LDAp and did not enter an LDAP user as an admin, then the default username is admin and the password is admin. If that does not work you set the password to something else during the install. You can rerun the setup by:

  1. stopping openfire
  2. edit the openfire.xml file setup tag to read false
  3. start openfire
  4. goto the admin page and step through the config again
