Unable to Send Sparks

We are having this issue that should have been resolved with Spark 1546 (Where users send a message and it never “moves up” as sent and they cannot see any responses.

Has been an intermittant issues with users on multiple client versions (2.7.0, 2.7.7, and 2.8.0) and Java builds. Very frustrating as no way to nail down root cause. When this occurs, the appearance of the Spark Client also changes. It shows lines between each logged in user. Any suggestions?

Well https://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/SPARK-1546 was indeed fixed (at least i haven’t seen that issue since and nobody else has reported it). Maybe you should try a clean reinstall and maybe also starting with a fresh profile.

You can wipe your Spark profile and start with a fresh one. Spark profile is here

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark

If you need your history, copy this folder:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark\user\username@servername\transcripts

And copy it back after you start with a fresh profile.

Also, can you add a screenshot of that issue with lines? I’m not sure i’m getting the picture from your words only.
