Uninstall from macOS?

I would like to uninstall Openfire but short of removing the Preference Pane Icon, I don’t know how to uninstall it?

I installed OpenFire on my mac, but wasn’t really thinking and this is not what I wanted to do. Ok, no problem I just uninstall it. Except there is no uninstall option. There is no readme about what files are installed where, there aren’t even any files called openfiire or xmpp etc. So how do I get rid of this?

Oh well, it only took a month to find out. I wish the forums were a little more helpful.

Note: SafeMode must be booted into in order to stop macOS from replacing deleted files, but that can take 20mins, even on an SSD!
