Using the beta 3 for the gateways I get this whenever I want to register to the icq gateway with the UIN 98706050
Unknown error code returned from AIM: 12
URL: http://www.aim.com/errors/INVALID_DB_FIELDS.html?ccode=us&lang=en
Information log:

Debuglog isn’'t showing an error or any usefull information for that.

Invalid db fields? Wow, I have never seen that one before! I do not understand what it might mean. I mean is it saying that it’‘s own database is broken or that it’'s being passed something weird or what? Hrm…
It is a weird error. The ICQ account actually works with trillian but when I try to register with the gateway over psi it gives me that error and I can’'t login.
Hrm, looks like the joscar folk are still fighting with this:
http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/4582
On an interesting note, gaim has this:
http://fisheye1.cenqua.com/browse/gaim/gaim/src/protocols/oscar/auth.c
Note the log entry:
Go back to using the insecure xor-based authentication for ICQ because
I think some people’'s ICQ numbers will trigger problems when using MD5.
Namely login error code 0x000c and error url
So it looks like a problem from within joscar. I posted a comment and we’'ll see where things go from there. Stay tuned!
