Update to 3.6.0a woes

Hi,

I’ve updated to 3.6.0a using the RPM. However, when going into the console OpenFire says it’s 3.6.0 and that there is a 3.6.0a update available. What should I do?

Another thing, I haven’t been able to find any documentation on updating the plugins, except for the mention in the 3.6.0 update guide that several plugins should be updated. What is the correct procedure? I haven’t been able to find it.

Thanks,

-Mario.

I ran into the same issue. Anyone know what is going on?

Hi,

This issue has been discussed previously in the forums. You will have to suffer with the message until 3.6.1 is released, or turn off the update notices until then.

My apologies, I was in a hurry and had people breathing down my neck so I neglected to do a search before posting.

How about the other part of the question? How do I update the plugins?

Thanks,

-Mario.

I have the same problem as was described re 3.6.0a, glad it’s explained.

But to update plug-ins, you can log into the administration web site (port 9090 or https port 9091 by default) and go straight to the plug-ins area. There you can find update options for plug-ins.
