We would be interested by OpenFire v 3.6.2 but we urgently need some answers about software / hardware prerequisites
We intend to install OpenFire v 3.6.2 server software on a Windows 2003 Server platform (possibly Windows 2008) and our Microsoft Active Directory is about 70 K active physical users (we expect 50 K max. XMPP connected users).
Ø What is the maximum concurrent active users on an OpenFire server using a Microsoft Windows 2003 Server on a single Intel XEON multicore CPU platform ?
Ø What about CPU model, RAM size, necessary disk space in this case ?
Ø What about OpenFire virtual machines nodes (i.e. VMWare) ?
We would be very interested in any OpenFire experience on Windows environment.
