Is there a way to track user activity within openfire? Specifically I would like to know when they login when they logout, etc.
This is probably saved somewhere in the database, though i’m not sure about the session information and can’t say which tables or fields. Visually you ca see last logout time in the Users list in Admin Console. Login would be on the Sessions page (click on a username and see Session Created timestamp).
AFAIK logouts are not saved in a user readable way. Luckily someone wrote a plugin for it.User Status Plugin
