In the Wildfire Admin Console under User Summary, we have these columns:
Online Username Name Created Edit Delete
We have many users in our OS X based LDAP that have aliases. The default usernames do not allow a ‘’.’’ character, so many users will be, for instance, ‘‘chrism’’ with an alias to ‘‘chris.m’’. However, that main name is the one that shows up in the “Username” column. If I search for “chris.m” is does find the user since it’'s an alias…
My question is, is there a way to get the User Summary to show ALL the available names for a user? So Username would say “chrism, chris.m”? I currently still have to log into the Workgroup Manager in OS X to double check username availability - it would be great if Wildfire just reported this for me.
Thanks in advance!
