Our current AD structure for our call center agents call for the usernames to be in a different format than the login name. Unfortunately, Wildfire/Pandion reflect the login name as the client display name. As you can see this causes problems when you are trying to find “Mary Jones”, but her display name is “mj104298”. Is there a way for Wildfire to display the AD username instead of the login name?
Under the <ldap> tags use: <nameField>displayName</nameField>
This will affect the names of the users in the roster. Is this what you are looking for?
Is there a way to do this with the HSQL db if not using ldap? When users sign in, I see their login vs what shows up under their “Name” info.
