We had openfire running fine on OS X 10.8. When we upgraded to Mavericks, we began seeing issues with adding buddies. When a user adds a buddy, 90% of the time, the buddy that was added does not receive an authorization request. Sometimes, the buddy that was added will receive the authorization request a few days later. The logs are showing lots of org.jivesoftware.openfire.user.UserAlreadyExistsException for the user that was added. The logs are also showing org.jivesoftware.openfire.IQRouter - Packet sent to unreachable address errors that contain the username of the buddy that was added. Has anyone else been experiencing any issues related to this?
Our server is configured as follows:
Mac OS X 10.9
Java v 1.6.0_65 32 bit
MySQL 5.6.10
openfire is configured as follows:

Database - MySQL

Authentication - LDAP (authenticates with Active Directory)
Any help would be greatly appreciated since this is causing serious issues for our company.
