After adding a substantial number of users (>2000) to jive messenger, the users screen becomes unusable.
With 2.1.2 you can specify the number of users per page, but I don’'t think anyone wants to see screen upon screen of Page:[1 2 3…] on both sides of the table. (I have a nice screen shot if I could attach it!)
Wouldn’'t something like
as per jive forums be a lot more usable…

I guess this is an effort to handle the type of issue I mentioned in my previous post, but its very quirky and not what I would have expected. There is a need to handle presentation of large numbers of users but I would urge you to think about my previous post.
Ryan, what do you think? Is this the intended behaviour?

Thanks for the detailed description. I made a minor tweak to the page so that the “1” page always shows up – check out the nightly build tonight and look for user-summary.jsp.
Longer term we’'ll make better changes to the paginator but this should suffice for now.
