Utf-8 does not work in conferences on MySQL level

Hi,

I tried to send UTF-8 messages (russian) to wildfire-3.2.2 conferences. All the characters of the messages have been successfully delivered. They were correctly displayed. But in the data table mucconversationlog the corresponding records have been appeared containing question marks instead of the messages.

After restarting the server, the conference history has been displayed as question marks instead of real messages.

My profile: Wildfire-3.2.2, MySQL-5.0.28, the wildfire data tables encoding is UTF8. The behavior is the same as with setting section of my wildfire.xml file as without.

P.S. It is the same story with UTF8 user aliases and UTF8 topic names.

My fault. Everything works with ‘’ tag in the configuration file.
