Warning log entry from org.jivesoftware.wildfire.net!

Elo,

Anyone got any ideas what these are? Just noticed them in the warnings log…!

2006.07.18 00:43:30 TLS was required by the server and connection was never secured. Closing connection : org.jivesoftware.wildfire.net.SocketConnection@82fba9 socket: Socket[addr=/82.38.176.194,port=32808,localport=5222] session: org.jivesoftware.wildfire.ClientSession@192563a status: -1 address: secureim.co.uk/7b26c80e id: 7b26c80e presence:

2006.07.19 11:28:25 TLS was required by the server and connection was never secured. Why do Jive want to know my presence status!?!?!?! bit random!

Any ideas? And whats with the random code after the domain?

Cheers,

I.

org.jivesoftware.wildfire.net.SocketConnection is the name of the class that is trying to connect to your server, not the name of the server itself. Can’‘t help with the second part, but shouldn’'t be too long before someone else can answer that (and confirm the first part).

Hi,

TLS was required by the server and connection was never secured. Closing connection

it seems that you did configure that TLS is required and a client without TLS support did try to connect.

One should look at the source code to figure out why a presence tag is logged and how the code (which looks random) after the domain is generated.

Hi,

Thanks! I was gettin a bit worried!

Yeah, the servers SSL only and we only use spark so it sorts itself out. weird!

Thanks
