Webstart spark, is this no longer possible or adviseable?

Hello all,

I searched the forums for webstart spark and it seems that there are a few posts from a year ago but nothing recent.

I was wondering if webstarting spark is a viable option with the latest version?

I was also wondering the same thing. I heard that using webstart for spark would reduce the load when running spark from a central location.

I don’t know alot about webstart but I don’t see any jnlp files to run spark.
