What is a rosterless mode?

Hi,

I haven’t found a documentation for a message in the debug log, so I wanted to ask this question here:

What is meant, if I find this in the info log:

2008.04.02 17:22:34 Registered donald.duck@jabber.int.kn/spark as 211531258 in rosterless mode.

I am trying to understand the messages in the error, warning, info and debug log. Any general documentation available?

It appears that when I log into the spark server using pidgin, then I am noted as being in rosterless mode. But when I use the official spark client from linux, then I do not get this message. I am currently working with Pidgin support to find out if this may be causing the server to actively disconnect me from the server.
