What's wrong? Java error logging into Admin Console

Openfire server is currently installed on Mac OS X 10.4 client nd bound to an AD domain.

Ran through setup without a serious issue, but when I try to log into the admin console through either Safari or Firefox I get this error:

This occurs regardless of what browser is used or if the requesting system is OS X 10.4-10.6.
Host OS is fully patched.

Any ideas?

Hi,

did you stop and start Openfire after running the setup? One can not login after setup because of a bug but this may be unrelated to the error you get.

I have stopped and restarted the service, rebooted the machine, verified ldap connectivity from the system, and verified Java is fully updated for 10.4.11.

Still no luck.

I have the same problem.

The server we use is a Ubuntu 10.10 server and the installation went like this tutorial. I have unistalled and reinstalled Openfire, but no luck.

In the past i have had Openfire on Ubuntu 7.10, Fedora 8, OSX L, OSX SL without any trouble. A mayor difference is that this is the first time i had to use a terminal instead of a GUI. Maybe that is an important factor…
