When a user is typing

Hi all,

I am a newbie at this. Is there a way in Spark to show when the person at the other end ‘is typing’ so that you don’t sit there wondering whether the person at the other end is going to respond or not?

I dont’ know what the technical term for that is.

Hi TR,

this is actually a Spark and not an Openfire question. As far as I can tell Spark already sends out typing notification messages and displays when the remote user is typing.

In Spark presence icon (green bubble) is changing to pencil icon in chat window tab and in roster when a contact you are chatting with types a response to your message.
