Where is the servlet in smack?

Hi,

I heard that smack providing the functionality to work jive messenger as web client i.e., HTTP based solution.I downloaded the zip and started working on that…but i am unable to find the servlet which we are using or which serves as HTML client. Please if it is there in the zip please let me know the servlet path or name.

Please provide me the servlet which you are using which serves as HTML client,so that i can plug-in my server and use it.

Thanks,

Bhanu

Hi,

Smack is a library which you can use to build your own servlet. I don’‘t think that Jive Messenger’'s servlet is open-source. So you will have to build it yourself.

Bhanu,

We do have an unfinished servlet for group chat that we plan to make Open Source when we have time. It’'s not a full XMPP web client, however.

Matt

Thanks,

Bhanu
