For some reason, when someone begins a conversation with another user, EVERYONE sees the initial IM messages. Broadcasting is not turned on and these are users directly targeting other users. Any ideas? This is quickly becoming a problem for my userbase.

I believe I have found why this is occuring, but I do not understand how it happens.
If I select one of the users from the Openfire Admin web interface and browse to that user’s roster, it shows the base domain name as an entry.
This is listed amongst the other users in the roster:
Is this intended? Obviously when a message is sent to their roster, it then broadcasts at the same time.
