Wildfire 2.4.4 To Wildfire 2.5.1

Is it an easy upgrade to upgrade to 2.5.1 or will it crash the database.

Hey Michael,

It should be fairly easy to do the upgrade. The only database modification is the creation of a new table. You can run the db upgrade script manually if you feel more confident that way. Just stop the server and execute the corresponding db script located in resources\database\upgrade\2.4_to_2.5.

Hi Michael,

as Wifi is a Java application it does not matter if you are upgrading on Windows/Linux. A full backup (to disk, as it restores much faster than any tape device) before upgrade does no harm and I usually do it, but I did never use it so far.
