Wildfire 3.1.0 Beta 2 presence

Hi,

just upgraded, and presence was working fine at last. however, I had to restart wildfire last night, when it came up again, presence only works for one user now. the other 100 or so are back to how it was pre beta 2 when the only users online in the roster were those online at the time you logged in!

havent changed anything… beating my head agains the wall here. just dont understand.

any ideas?

it seems that you did hit JM-851, you are using LDAP/AD, aren’'t you?

yes, thought the lastest version beta2 fixed that… i guess ill grab the source, make the change sugessted and try that. ta

a solved issue does look like JM123, so even the latest source code contains this bug.

Note to be rude… But how long doe sit take to change one line of code… If this is reall ythe cause of all of these LDAP headache’‘s I’‘m reading about and experiencing myself, I would think the developers would be right on top of that… Please fix this issue it’'s a big pain in my butt…

I assume that Gato has some time next week to fix it.

As it is open source one can change and compile it to get a bug-free version.
