Wildfire 3.2.3 to Openfire 3.3.0 Problem!

Hi,

I have upgraded the version of Wildfire 3.2.3 to the 3.3.0 (Openfire). As usual I have stopped the service, and run the exe file and installed Openfire successfully. Then I’‘ve launched the admin console, but the users tab does not exist. So I’'ve changed the name wildfire.script to openfire.script. Finally it is working, but I am not sure if this is the proper way. Besides the loaded plugins are not working.

Can I export the embedded database files from Wildfire and import to Openfire.??

I just followed the update instructions http://www.igniterealtime.org/builds/openfire/docs/latest/documentation/index.ht ml

and also had problems till I changed the name wildfire.script to openfire.script.

If you read the Upgrade Guide you should notice this:

  1. If using embedded database then rename embedded-db\wildfire* files to embedded-db\openfire*

for the plugins, once more, Upgrade guide:

  1. Delete all jar files in the plugin folder and drop new versions of plugins

download newer ones
