Any ideas?

Hi,

“java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.mysql.jdbc.Messages” seems to be quite clear about a missing MySQL class in the driver but as I have no MySQL experience I wonder how one may get such an exception.

LG

And why would it work right after a restart? Or suddenly stop working?

MySQL seemed fine through all this.

Hi,

I assume that this particular class is needed only in very rare cases and thus it fails not very often.
