Wildfire crashes/won''t start won Windows 2003 + SP1

I used to run Jive Messenger on this box–under Win2003+SP1 with no problems in a test environment. After uninstalling Jive Messenger and installing Wildfire, the software crashes whenver I tried to start it and logs an exception in the bin directory. (See exception report below)

I originally tried the Wildire with the JRE installer, then without–no luck either way.

Thanks.

Hi,

did you reboot your server or it is possible that jvm.dll was not completely unloaded and causes now some trouble?

It would be interesting to know if Jive Messenger still runs fine.

LG

I had rebooted in the past, but I went ahead uninstalled everything then rebooted. Then i reinstalled and rebooted and it corrected itself. Very Strange.

Thanks for responding though…-Iota

Hey Iota,

BTW, make sure that you are using latest JVM version (e.g. 1.5.0_06) and have latest OS patches installed.

Regards,
