Is it possible to embed Wildfire within websphere portal and within portlet(s)?
I would like to IM functionality provided by Wildfirre as a portlet part of my webspher portal. Can some one let me know the ways to do it?

do you want to to include it in a web page or do you want to used shared users for web and xmpp?
Do you also want to offer a web based chat, for example c2b or c2c?
Wildfire offers you to use LDAP or another database for user authentication, this should be fine for every application server.
Jivesoftware.com offers FastPath for optimized c2s via browser, this one will cost some peanuts.
There are the registration and presence plugin, it should be easy to integrate them in a portal.
Jwchat, Mucl and JHB allow to use Wildfire’'s gui with a normal browser instead of xmpp, there one needs to do some modifications but one should be able to use it within a portal.
