XMPP SSL progress for Jive

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if Jive supports the new XMPP SSL encryption. When I’'m using a client and port 5222 although i select (on the client side) to use TLS/SSL for encryption i can still sniff the XML of the packets using ethereal. Is this normal? when I select “force old SSL method” on my client everything is completely encrypted.

Ideas, Suggestions?

TLS (the new SSL) will be supported in version 2.3.0. An Alpha release of 2.3.0 will be out very soon – so far the new TLS and SASL code is working well.
