For me it doesn’'t retrieve offline messages upon login at all. Neither it sends offline messages to other ICQ contacts.

Hrm. Does actual 1.0 Beta 8 retrieve the offline messages? Or just this latest version I posted here? (like did I break the offline message functionality?)

Yes, 1.0 Beta 8 retrieves offline messages but with incorrect encoding.
