And installed that copy but it still shows 2.6.3 in my about window. I also have the same display issues that I did in 2.6.3 with groups. Is that the right download for the beta version?
We did not receive that many reports about bugs in 2.7. but our internal pilot operation has yielded a bit. You can follow those in Fisheye. That said, we think that a 2.7. in summer time is feasible. Actually, we were starting a little planing around that last week.
Bamboo only keeps last 10 builds, so only builds 623-632 are available now You can always check for the latest build yourself by going to http://bamboo.igniterealtime.org/browse/SPARK-INSTALL4J then pressing on the latest build number (#632) -> Artifacts -> install4j -> then the first link with the name spark_2_6_3_12555.exe
2.7.1 isn’t even planned yet. 2.7.0 is still not released. So this link is the only latest version. You can say “Beta”. Though it is more a living thing, constantly evolving, changing. Every build is the new patch applied, new fix, sometimes new bugs. #632 seems pretty stable. I’m using it now on my network with ~200 users.
I’ve already explained everything. The second link doesn’t work, because there were more than ten new biulds and Bamboo system only keeps 10 of them, so replace 632 in the link with 642 and it will work. Or read the first part of my reply and then you can always find and download the latest build.
Noone can tell when and whether 2.7.0 will be released. We don’t have developers to do this. So i suggest to use the latest builds and it should be fine.
