Just a heads-up, the ‘/usr/local/openfire’ directory shows up with group “Unknown” after installation of 3.5.0, and you can’t get in to read the database templates until you change the group permissions.
Mac OS X 10.5.2 Leopard running on Intel.
Left out of the above post: group permissions should be set to “wheel”, as follows:
sudo chgrp -R wheel /usr/local/openfire
