Openfire 3.7.1/FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE, from ports
After an upgrade to 3.7.1 I lost the ability to communicate with some of my buddies (they are show crossed-out and the message says that their sever cannot be reached). The problem symptoms were similar like in http://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/OF-443 .
The page above says that it’s fixed in 3.7.1, but it really looks like only the half of the patches is applied to the 3.7.1 source tarball. I mean that R11784.patch is present, and pre-xmpp-dialback-fix.diff is not.
Manually applying the second patch helps with teh issue - now I’m fully able to communicate with all of my contacts.
What am I missing ? Why only the half of the patch is applied to the 3.7.1 source tarball ?
