404: Remote Server Not Found error in Gaim

I just upgraded from a much older version of Jive Server, and now I am experiencing an error I cannot discern.

I can connect to the server and the active connection shows up in the web interface, but all of the contacts in my list are grayed out and have a “404: Remote Server Not Found” error underneath them. Does anyone know the cause of such a problem. Perhaps it is due to the upgrade that I made?

maybe this can be because of more strict JID/servername handling in newest versions of Wildfire. Check if this contacts are added in username@servername format, not as username@ip. Though i dont quite remember everything about that, not using s2s so dont have to bother about this.
