A better idea Spark messenger

I need a messenger that supports UTF-8. because Spark messenger is a bit heavy for the normal system.
Need a good idea?

There is a list of XMPP clients - https://xmpp.org/software/clients.html
I think most of them should work with UTF-8.

P.S. Dele, i’ve made a PR to add Pade to this list https://github.com/xsf/xmpp.org/pull/565
It seems they automatically hide clients based on last updated value. I have based my date value on 1.2.0, which is showing on the project page.
