I am using Jive Messenger tied into Active Directory via LDAP. In my Active Directory setup, passwords are set to expire every 3 months, and users get warnings for 7 days before hand.
I have been having a problem where a user will change their password in active directory, and it will work fine on the network, but when the user try’'s to log into the Jive server, they get an error message (using neos client) that reads as follows:
“there was an error with the jabber connection. Server: servername. error recieving from socket. connection reset”
does anyone have any clue what is going on here? because I dont
any help would be much appreciated.
