OK…i got openfire up and running but have issues seeing users embedded in the security groups thus no users in openfire or in the gropus themselves ; here is the very simplified directory structure:
Resources
Chat
IT Chat (securitygroup-IT staff as members)
HR Chat (security group - HR staff as members)
Admin Chat (security grp - admins as members)
there are spaces in the sec grp names which is a PITA…
my ldap.basedn = ou=chat,ou=resources, dc=companyx,dc=com
i can see the groups, but no members. and no users show up in the openfire users field.
I know i have a filter wrong and it seems like i have edited them all about 500 times…anyhelp would be great
