Ok Seeing that im not an expert with AD how in the word do you get it to register and see the Domain tree
Ex:
Domain
operations
customer service
accounting
We have our users placed in different OU’s but not able to get things to work right. One I am not able to login as administrator. Yet during the install process it checks out fine. Any ideas would be helpful.

Where is your base DN set in Openfire? Set your base DN at the domain level first and see what you can see from there. Then narrow it down with LDAP filters if you need to.
Nick
Base DN is dc=company,dc=domain
The issue I have now is with the Aministrator Auth…
cn=thanks,ou=it;dc=cdic,dc=domain
So I tried to remove a few links in the domain tree…
