Added some System Properties but not affecting the openfire service after restart and won't display as well

Hello Community,

we have added some cache related system properties (because of server choking during peak times) but when we restart the service the properties are not displaying on console and i think these are not applying on openfire server as well, although we can see these properties in ‘ofProperty’ table, we are using the openfire 4.6.2.
Help will be highly appreciated.
