I’'m looking at setting up Jive Messenger in a corporate environment. Is there a way to have users add buddies, without having to wait for the buddy to authorize? I worked for IBM a while back, and we used SameTime (Corporate AOL), and we could add users to our list without authorization. I can understand having the authorization with internet clients, just not with internal ones.

Would the following feature solve your use-case: JM-22? That feature is slated for the upcoming 2.1 release.
Another option would be direct database inserts, which has been discussed in other threads in the forum.
