Adding info other than name to contact list

I have an OpenFire setup that connects to our network’s Active Directory. I just wanted to see if anyone out there knew anything about changing the way the names are displayed in the Spark contact list. Currently the contact list displays only the first & last name as listed in AD. Ideally we’d like to include phone extensions as part of the contact list display name. Does anyone have any experience with making this happen? If so, I’d love any advice you’re able to give.

Openfire does not support multiple LDAP fields for the display name.
