I have 2 OpenFire servers in 2 different places, so form time to time user in server1 need to talk to user in server2, what I did was to create a group with server2 users in my server1, so the member of that group wer something like username@server2, whenever I added an user the local server warned me about this subscription mode that should be enabled.
Taking that warning into consideration I installed the subscription plug-in and added both server names on both server’s white list under the subsciption section. The thing is that users on server1 can’t see users on server2 and the same thing happens for user on server2.
