Admin console no longer accessible after 3.6.0a update

Hi,

We updated our Openfire server to 3.6.0.a and once we logged out of the admin console we have been unable to get back in. We get login failed messages everytime. We attempted to reset the password by clearing it out of the database with no success. The server is running and chat users can use it, we just can’t administer it.

Its running on Mac OS X 10.4.10 with a MySQL database. Thanks.

Try forcing your setup to rerun by editing the openfire.xml file with the server stopped. Change the setup tag to false. Then start the server and go back to the admin page and step through the config.
