Advertise Chat States

Anyone know how I would advertise that I am supporting CHAT STATES to another client?

For instance, if I login with my XIFF self made client to an OPENFIRE server and then login with SPARK to the same server, SPARK doesn’t bother sending chat states to my self-made client, which I am assuming is because I didn’t advertise that I support them… is that true?

Have you checked what is the incoming data in XIFF?

If the states are not there, then check if Spark is really sending them, perhaprs with Wireshark…
