Recently our company has started to use Spark as our IM solution. It works great authenticating off our AD for internal messaging, but the problem comes when we try to log into AIM.
AIM conencts properly, but Spark doesn’t show any of your AIM contacts. The only way we’ve found to fix it is to log out of spark, log back in, and reconnect to AIM. Which is itself nto a horrible thing you have to do, but it can take upwards of 30+ tries to make your contacts actually appear.
It only had to happen to our CEO once before it became a serious problem.
Our engineering department insists that reloading spark is the only way to fix it, but how can having to log in over 30 times be the solution?
Has any body ever seen this and know a fix?
