I am trying to find a good web-based (HTTP/HTTPS only, no applets which connect on different ports) XMPP chat app. I have yet to find anything good thus far. So I was thinking about creating my own. I figured I could create a Struts application (that utilizes the Smack API) that used some JSPs that were Ajax enabled to facilitate this.
But before I start “rolling my own”, I wanted to see if anybody here knows of an existing solution.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
